This month sees the start of Carnival season, with DJs, blogs and journalists going crazy for soca music. Well guess who’s jumping on that bunting-covered flag-waving crunk-to-the-eyeballs bandwagon?! Well, how could we resist when there’s tunes like the above to be heard, and shared; if Kerwin Du Bois’ Bacchanalist doesn’t get your feet moving then I’m not sure what will.
Expect more of the same over the next few weeks alongside our usual offering of dancehall and reggae music and news from Oxford and beyond; next week we’ll have more previews to The Heatwave party at the Cellar, news on our first Lord ‘av Mercy of 2012, as well as a brand new local food review. Stay locked.
