Tonight’s Skylarkin Soundsystem sees East Park Reggae Collective take to the Cellar stage from 10:30pm. Check out Build a Wall, below:
On the decks after is the man like JSTAR, referred to as the “reggae mash up don” it’s no surprise he’s part of London’s highly talented and influential Nice Up! clan (see Shepdog, Wrongtom and previous Skylarkin nights for the full family tree). With a limited pressing of his latest remixes Taxi Damaja/One Life One Hope now available, check the preview below:
Kicking off the night is yours truly, with Lord ‘av Mercy bringing the modern dub and dancehall vibes from 9pm. Check out our sneak preview from yesterday, and for full details get on the Facebook event page. Next Friday (9th) we are doing our last session of the year at the Library on Cowley Road - look out for details next week - then in January we’ll have news on a monthly residency and a very special announcement about a BIG show in February.
